The band counts three founding members: Alain Avon (guitar, piano, arrangements), Martin Avon (bass, arrangements), Jean-Philippe Alepins (vocals, lyrics, piano) and additional musicians to complete the group (drums, additional guitars, etc.)

The existence of Exit 451 has come about through some long-term musical relationships, much hard work and an in-depth knowledge of the music industry. With a private partner, the band owns Studio 451, a professional recording studio where they write, arrange & mix all their songs. Partners also co-own The 451 Recording House label.

The album's name The Sea Above The Sky is a poetic invitation to travel, to dream and to reach out for ideal love.
